We’re looking for a General QA Engineer to work on an e-learning platform that has been successfully operating on the market for 12 years and has hundreds of thousands of daily active users. It is an online educational platform that works with US market.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as Manual QA on WEB projects;
- 1+ year of experience in QA automation (JavaScript);
- Strong skills in manual testing methodologies and techniques;
- Good knowledge of Playwright;
- Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking;
- Ability to prioritize testing activities based on project requirements;
- In-depth knowledge of web technologies and understanding of how web applications work;
- Understanding of API documentation and request-response mechanisms;
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, especially in the context of Scrum;
- Ability to work in iterative development cycles and participate in sprint planning and reviews;
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey testing status and issues;
- Collaborative mindset to work closely with development and other cross-functional teams;
- Proactive involvement in improving overall testing processes
- Experience with API testing (Postman);
- Knowledge of database systems (MySQL) and skills in writing SQL queries;
- Familiarity with Jira;
- Experience with Excel;
- Experience with Git;
- Experience in creating and maintaining automated tests;
- Upper — Intermediate English (both written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain and execute test scenarios/cases;
- Collaborate with the team to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness;
- Conducting all types of testing at various stages of the SDLC;
- Provide regular and detailed test status reports to project stakeholders;
- Oversee the execution of test cases and ensure thorough coverage
- Effectively communicate testing progress, challenges, and recommendations
- Identify areas for process improvement within the QA workflow
- Work closely with developers to understand system architecture and changes
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning and reviews
- Participate in team planning activities;
- Provide impact analysis to measure and control test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions.
