We are searching for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a rapidly growing startup that is building an AI-driven SaaS platform to streamline renewable energy asset management, with an initial focus on the solar sector.
Requirements:
— 5+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on AI technologies;
— Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in developing AI frameworks and tools;
— Experience designing and working with PostgreSQL (especially for schema definition,
migrations, indexing, and relational modeling);
— Solid understanding of agent-based systems and their application in AI development.
— Preference for familiarity with Large Language Models;
— Ability to write clean, maintainable API contracts (OpenAPI / Swagger);
— Expertise with Google Cloud Platform — particularly CloudRun, Cloud Functions, CloudSQL, and IAM permissions;
— Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc.) and containerization via Docker.
— Familiar with authentication flows, possibly using Firebase or Auth0;
— Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
— Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
— Well organized and goal-oriented with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables;
— Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
— Familiarity with document parsing, PDF extraction, graph database modeling, and/or agentic workflows;
— Startup or solo developer experience.
