We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team for a project with a client in the finance industry, headquartered in Israel. The project focuses on state-of-the-art machine learning and mathematical modeling to create credit risk models for clients in emerging markets, based on data extracted from a client’s smartphone. Our work positively influences our target markets by providing credit to the otherwise unbanked population.
Requirements:
— 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist.
— Deep understanding of predictive modeling, multivariate analysis, and machine learning.
— Strong knowledge of data visualization, statistical modeling, and data mining.
— Experience in software application development, including design, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting applications.
— Extensive knowledge of Python and data science libraries.
— High proficiency in SQL.
— An analytical and creative mindset.
— Advanced level of English.
— Predictive modeling experience for the mobile and/or risk industry.
— Working experience with AWS Big Data Technologies (Redshift, S3, Athena).
— Working experience with Apache Spark.
— Working experience with graph databases (Neo4j).
— Mandatory experience in the finance industry.
Responsibilities:
— Develop and implement predictive models, multivariate analysis, and machine learning algorithms.
— Design, code, test, deploy, and support software applications.
— Perform data visualization, statistical modeling, and data mining.
— Utilize Python and data science libraries to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
— Write and optimize SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval.
— Employ creative and analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
— Utilize AWS Big Data Technologies such as Redshift, S3, and Athena.
— Work with Apache Spark and graph databases (Neo4j) to enhance data processing capabilities.
— Apply predictive modeling techniques specifically for the mobile and/or risk industry.
— Leverage experience in the financial sector to drive insights and strategic decisions.
